The 47th Annual WBC World Convention kicked off on the 1st of November on the picturesque island of Jeju, South Korea.

In WBC President Jose Sulaiman's third decade of power, the organisation known throughout the world is looking stronger than ever, with a showing of over 200 delegates from all over the world.

The seven day convention will see delegates meeting, greeting discussing and reviewing Boxing and Muay Thai industries including competition, rules, regulations, marketing, funding, promoting, medical issues, championships and so, so much more...

Australian WBC Muay Thai Representatives Pamorn Martdee and brother Jakawan have been busy making  new friends and contacts within the WBC and it is plain to see that with time, the world of ringsport will evolve and revolutionise to conform with the organisation, as professionalism, credibility and a broad network of support never ceases to operate.

By 2020, it will be the World Boxing Council who stands dominant in the world of ringsports namely Boxing and Muay Thai!

 

President Sulaiman has made the WBC more than just a ring affair; he has made it that, plus everything outside and surrounding it, from funding support to charities and ex-boxers to introducing stringent health and fitness regulations which is so unique and immensely impressive.
