The two fought for the WBC National Title in Battle Collossal 7 where an absolute show stopper saw the crafty Thai ringsman keep the Queenslandian Dynamite AKA 'The Flippa' at bay. Promotor Phon Martdee was extremely pleased with the event turn out as the crowd jeered on their local hero with chants of 'Oley' resonating around the stadium in the main event.
Sakonpetch was crowned the new lightweight WBC National Champion by judges' unanimous points decision after five skilled and masterful rounds.
